TRAINING FOR 2010 We train at MacPherson Park (Oval 2) in Coburns Road, Toolern Vale (Melton), at 6.15pm each Wednesday night. Training predominantly involves fitness work, and a combination of umpiring skills, and theory/coaching sessions. We offer all new umpires to undertake the AFL’s accreditation program, which is delivered as part of an umpire’s training and development. Training also involves visits from AFL Umpires, a nutritionist, RDFL captains and coaches along with other special events. Females and male, all age groups and experiences welcome.
